ABOUT VICTOR

Victor Manuel Gomez discovered his love for music at just 4 years old while attending the Los Angeles Urban League Head Start State Preschool. Music was his favorite pastime, from singing to playing the saxophone, electric bass guitar, and piano. A naturally gifted and driven self-learner, Victor didn’t just play music; he immersed himself in it, teaching himself how to navigate different instruments with curiosity and determination. He approached learning not as a chore, but as a joyful adventure, demonstrating an innate intelligence and a lifelong passion for acquiring knowledge.

Victor lived with a natural gift for helping others, defined by a profound kindness and a deeply loving heart that touched everyone he met. He was entirely selfless—frequently disrupting his own plans and sharing his time and money to support anyone in need. Fueled by this immense passion for uplifting others and his love for the classroom, he attended Humboldt State University with the goal of becoming a teacher. This foundation carries his legacy forward by bridging his two greatest loves: music and education. By supporting the next generation of independent learners and compassionate educators, we ensure that Victor’s spirit of radical generosity, kindness, and community service lives on.
